We are pleased to announce the first international scientific and professional conference
PSYCHOLOGY IN TRANSITION: ADAPTING TO RAPIDLY CHANGING WORLD
organised by the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split, which will be held on
19th September 2025 in Split, Croatia
The main aim of the scientific and professional conference is to explore how psychological theory, research, and practice can address the challenges posed by the fast-paced transformations in our global society.
To participate in the conference as a presenter, it is necessary to submit an abstract, which will be evaluated by the members of the Scientific Committee.
Authors of accepted abstracts will have the opportunity to share their work through either a 15-minute oral presentation or a poster session. Participants whose abstracts are positively evaluated and who present at the conference will also have the option to submit a paper for inclusion in the conference Proceedings, which will be published afterward. Additionally, all attendees will receive a certificate of participation, while presenters will be awarded a certificate of presentation.
Conference location: The conference will be held at the AC Marriott hotel in the city of Split (Address: Ul. Domovinskog rata 61A).

• Abstract submission deadline: May 1st, 2025 (extended deadline)
• Notification of acceptance / rejection: June 1st, 2025
• Registration deadline: July 1st, 2025.
• Submission of the full paper (optional for those wishing to publish in the Conference proceedings): September 15th, 2025

Abstract instructions: Abstracts should be limited to 250 words and presented in a single paragraph. The abstract must provide a concise summary of the aim, main topic, and key outcomes of the presentation. If the presentation reports on research, the abstract should include the primary research question(s), the subjects, the methodology, and the main findings. List of the five keywords should be included at the end.
Poster’s instructions: Presenters are responsible for creating and bringing their own posters, which must be delivered at the latest, the day before the conference. During the poster session, presenters should be ready to discuss their work and respond to questions. Details regarding the poster format will be provided directly to the authors once their proposals have been accepted.
Full paper instructions: Submissions should conform to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (7th edition). Ensure that all references cited in the text are accurately reflected in the reference list. Submissions must not exceed 5,000 words in length.
All abstracts and full papers will be subject to a double-blind peer review process and categorized accordingly.
