The goal of this course is to familiarize students with basic statistical terms and analyses relevant for conducting research in educational sciences.

COURSE CONTENT:
Methodology and statistics in research.
Basic statistical terms. Data collection.
Descriptive statistics. Grouping the data.
Presenting data using tables.
Presenting data using graphs.
Measures of central tendency.
Measures of data variability.
Normal distribution. Z-values.
Inferential statistics. Testing hypotheses.
Parameter estimation.
t-test.
Chi-square test.
Correlation.
